Data Source & Methodology

Paper: Kaufman et al. (2020). "A global database of Holocene paleotemperature records." Scientific Data 7:115. doi:10.1038/s41597-020-0530-7

Dataset: Temp12k v1.0.0 Figshare Collection

Conventions: Time axis CE = 1950 − BP; Baseline 1800–1900 CE

Uncertainty: Fig 6a uses 16th-84th percentiles (±1 SD); Fig 3 uses 5th-95th percentiles per method

Status: ✅ Now using corrected percentiles matching paper specifications

Methods: CPS (Composite-Plus-Scaling), DCC (Diffusion-Component-Clustering), SCC (Single-Component-Clustering), PAI (Pairwise-Comparison), GAM (Generalized-Additive-Model)
